Mount Huangshan, or Huangshan Mountain, known as "the loveliest mountain of China", was acclaimed through art and literature during a good part of Chinese history. It is renowned for odd-shaped pines growing out of granite boulders, magnificent sea of clouds, and grotesque stones.
